my uncle Wayne used to race hardtops at Vallejo speedway in the late 60's ...I was only 6-7 ...I used to just love it ...went every Saturday ...I think he was #83 and his car was red ...are these hardtops still racing?

Ray, hardtops are still racing with the California Hardtop Association. We have a page here in the "Teammates" section covering them. They are using some of the original hardtops and some replicas. Their 2014 schedule is on their page.
Is your uncle's last name Burdick also? I looked for info on him and found none so far.

thanks Bob, yes his name is Wayne Burdick ...yeah, I tried to find him also drivers ...I don't know ...I was just a kid ...but I remember seeing his car in his garage and also seeing same car on track sitting next to my Aunt cheering him on. I know his car was red and I think the # was 83?
